Just a couple of shots from one of these will take out most opponents and their spread of bullets ensures you just need to shoot near an enemy to do damage (of course, it doesn’t hurt to get direct shots). They are essential for close-range battles.

This is an automatic shotgun that shoots faster than any other shotgun in the game. It doesn’t do as much damage, but it just keeps firing. This is the kind of weapons that is so dangerous it can make a noob competitive.

Peacekeeper
The favoured shotgun of enthusiasts everywhere. It does a massive amount of damage per shot and has surprisingly good range. It is good enough to compete without any attachments, although a Precision Choke hop-up will allow you to charge up your shots for even more precise aim. This is the shotgun to get.

Mozambique
There is a reason your Legend will throw the Mozambique down in disgust when you switch to a better weapon – it is pathetic. It only carries three shells and barely does any damage. It is worth picking up if you cannot find anything else at the start of the match, but you are better off with literally any other weapon in the entire game. Throw this away as soon as you can.

Mastiff
Okay, so we said the Peacekeeper is the shotgun to get, but the Mastiff is better in almost every way. It is also much rarer – it only comes from a supply drop. It also fires eight pellets with each shot in a wide spread, which can take almost any enemy down with a single shot. You won’t find them often but when you do, use them!
